A rear extensions to an existing building. The client wanted to create a better working home which included a fourth bedroom, rumpus room and creating a connection between living spaces and the backyard within minimal demolition to the existing. This was achieved by shifted living, Dining and kitchen to the rear which extended the existing house. The Proposed addition was design to not compete with the existing by being of a modern design. This clearly identify the old from the new which paid respect to the existing dwelling. The design proposed to reduce visibility from the street and only popped out to help identify the secondary entry.
